An Evening with Carroll Baker
Back by popular demand: The overwhelming success of her last concert at the Imperial Theatre will no doubt be as well received this time around and destined to be a sell out. There will be many happy concert goers. Carroll Baker is as dedicated to her fans as they are to her and she strives to present the very best possible concert each and every time.
This time around, her concert, A Special Evening With Carroll Baker, will feature many of her popular hit songs. It will also feature Gospel music which she is so loved for, and a new section that is dedicated to some of her favourite singers and their hits. She tries to stay as true to each of these legendary songs as she can, but there is definitely something different that is found in each song, it is called the Carroll Baker style and “that” is her signature voice. Instantly recognizable, powerful and dripping with raw emotion.
Be prepared to laugh because you will, she is a very humourous entertainer telling jokes that are most often directed at herself. She will tug at your heartstrings and bring tears to your eyes when she sings sad songs, and make you want to get up and dance to some of the uptempo music. This is a show for all ages and not to be missed.
