London, Ontario’s Ivory Hours are currently headed east on the tail end of their first coast to coast Canadian tour.
Morning Light, the band’s full length debut released in June 2015, was co-produced by Dan Brodbeck (The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan) and was mastered by Joao Carvalho (Lights, Stars). The album helped get a bit of a buzz happening for the band, due largely the first single Warpaint and its clever stop-motion video.
Ivory Hours have cracked the code for writing infectious, highly danceable beats, driven by Luke Roes’ synth-like guitar work layer over the driving rhythm section of Chris Levesque (Bass) and Thomas Perquin (Drums).
With another album prepped and an acoustic release in the works, 2016 promises to be a busy year for Ivory Hours.
