Kalle Mattson kicks off North American tour at The Capital Complex
Ottawa-based singer-songwriter Kalle Mattson will play the first date of his fall tour at The Capital Complex on August 27, 2015 in support of his new EP, Avalanche, which will be officially released through Home Music Co. on August 21.
Mattson is an award-winning musician with an impressive list of accolades including SOCAN’s Songwriter of the Year award and several Northern Ontario Music Awards and his 2014 album Someday, The Moon Will Be Gold was nominated for Canada’s 2014 Polaris Prize.
His upcoming release Avalanche began streaming via SPIN Magazine earlier this month receiving positive reviews from both SPIN and NPR. The video for the title track has already received nearly 100,000 views on Youtube. Check it out.
