New Exhibit Opens October 24
My Favourite Things features five realist women artists, all of whom live or have roots in Atlantic Canada. Jessie Babin draws exquisitely in graphite, charcoal and coloured pencil; Ann Balch’s paintings of faces in watercolour are moving and introspective at the same time; Joanne Hunt’s floral and still life compositions in oil exemplify this artist’s eye for detail; Susan Paterson’s paintings in oil are classical masterpieces; and Cathy Ross’s watercolour paintings uplift and engage the viewer.
The exhibition will continue until November 16, 2014.
Gallery 78 is open weekdays: Tuesday to Friday 10am-5pm and on the weekends: Saturdays 10am-3pm, Sundays 1-4pm.
