New Brunswick singer songwriter Jason Haywood has been a mainstay in the province’s music community for several years. From his time spent as member of NB country superstars The Divorcees, through his notable solo albums, 2012’s A Thousand Miles Since Yesterday and 2017’s Folklore, Haywood has been balancing his eclectic influences with equal measure mixing clear country, roots, and Americana music with his obvious love of 60’s pop and rock and roll.

Following Stay Awhile, the debut single from his latest project Jason Haywood & the Goldrush, Haywood and Co. return with the second single from their forthcoming debut album.

Things Have Changed finds Haywood embracing his love for the Fab Four with harmonies, hooks, key changes and comforting melodies in all the right places.

“This song was inspired by The Beatles. Pure and simple,” says Haywood. “Their music shaped my musical trajectory since the age of nine. Songs like Nowhere Man and In My Life with their nostalgic yet melancholic look at the past really helped inform the direction of this song musically and lyrically.”

Things Have Changed comes packaged with an impressive video by Wes Perry shot at the abandoned train museum in Hillsboro, NB.

The group’s self-titled debut is set for release this fall.

Upcoming Performances:

Jason Haywood (solo) | August 15 | The Holy Whale Beer Hall | Riverview, NB |
