New Brunswick College of Craft and Design’s annual Jewellery and Metal Arts Exhibition is on display until July 22.

Jewellery and Metal Arts have been pillars of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design’s programming for decades. And for nearly two decades now, Fredericton’s Gallery 78 have sponsored Sterling, the school’s annual Jewellery and Metal Arts Exhibition celebrating production work, silversmithing, collection pieces, and sculptural work made by first and second year students as well as those enrolled in the school’s Advanced Studio Practice Program.

Curated by 2022 Saidye Bronfman award-winner and longtime NBCCD instructor Brigitte Clavette and award-winning program head Kristyn Cooper, this annual exhibition is a feast for the eyes. With their leadership, as well as the talented and dedicated work of entrepreneurship studio head Erica Stanley and technician Mackenzie Russell, the school’s Jewellery and Metal Arts Program is one of the best in the country.

The works are on display in-person at the official residence of New Brunswick’s Lieutenant Governor at 51 Woodstock Rd. in Fredericton from May 13 – July 22, 2023. The house is open Monday to Friday, 10 – 4 p.m.
