Fox and Minglewood will perform shows at the Fredericton Playhouse and Casino New Brunswick (Moncton) in April.
Kylie Fox is a singer songwriter, fusing indie-folk storytelling with vintage elements of jazz and alternative rock. Her perceptive lyrics and undeniably catchy melodies are illustrated by a classically trained voice, warm and textured with a laid -back richness. Fox’s debut album, Green (2020), led her to tour Canada extensively, sharing stages alongside names like Bahamas, The Strumbellas and Joel Plaskett, along with showcasing at the East Coast Music Awards in 2021.
Fox is currently working with producer Daniel Ledwell to complete her sophomore album, expected to arrive sometime in 2024.
Fox will join multi award-winning Cape Breton blues-country-rock artist Matt Minglewood and his band for a pair of shows in New Brunswick this spring, including the Fredericton Playhouse in Fredericton on Friday, April 12 and Casino New Brunswick in Moncton on Saturday, April 13.
Minglewood is expected to take fans on a walk down memory lane through his 60-year music career featuring songs and stories from his first album, the legendary The Red Album, to his latest recording and all points between.
