Prince Edward Island’s Gizmo will be passing through New Brunswick this month as part of the band’s current Maritime tour playing shows in Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton and Sackville.
Gizmo’s debut EP Buddy System was released in August of last year. The four song release channels the palatable indie rock formula that has formed the foundation of countless Maritime bands over the years including Halifax’s In-Flight Safety and former East Coast pop/indie rockers Sloan to name just a few. With earworm melodies and controlled tempos that provide ample space for the band’s layered vocal delivery, Gizmo’s one and only release has left many patiently awaiting the band’s followup and eager to hear what comes next.
Fans of the band can expect to hear some new music this month during Gizmo’s current East Coast tour which begins Friday February 16 with a show at Wasted Day Brewery in Saint John with special guests Papal Visit and Sleepover.
