Gallery 78 explores the world of printmaking with its latest exhibition series, Pulled, Pressed, and Screened. Featuring work by Margot Cormier Splane, Lori Doody, Kath Kornelsen Rutherford, Robert Rutherford, Tessa May, Ann Manuel, Anna Syperek and others, this exhibition highlights a variety of techniques and approaches to the all encompassing world of printmaking.
From Doody’s vibrant monotypes to Manuel’s fearless approach involving layed ink, graphite, charcoal, and other materials, Pulled, Pressed, and Screened is a true celebration of the process and the artform. The series also features work by Bruno Bobak, Molly Lamb Bobak, William Forrestall, Alan Garbelsky, Vicki MacLean, David Silverberg, and Francis Wishart.
