The Beaverbrook Art Gallery has four artist talks coming up between now and the end of October.
A world class photographer and a well known New Brunswick painter and mural artist are just two of the guests slated to take part in the Beaverbrook Art Gallery’s current series of artists talks exploring work related to the gallery and our province.
The series begins on September 22 with Saint John based photographer James Wilson. Wilson’s work Social Studies, a long term project spanning over 25 years documenting New Brunswick people from all walks of life and vocations, is currently on display at the recently reopened gallery.

September 22 at 6:30 PM: Join James Wilson for his artist talk and learn more about his exhibition Social Studies. Tickets for his talk can be found here.
September 29 at 6:30 PM: The Last Lucivee screening and artist talk. The Last Lucivee is a short film created and directed by Matthew Brown and Janice Wright Cheney. Shot in various locations in the Wabanaki-Acadian forests of New Brunswick, it tells the dystopian tale of a naturalist who is determined to prove the existence of the fabled Eastern Cougar. October 6 at 6:30 PM: Join Adele Weder to learn more about her book Ron Thom, Architect: The Life of a Creative Modernist. Tickets for this event can be found here.
October 13 at 6:30 PM: Join artist Deanna Musgrave and learn more about her work and exhibition Transcendence. Tickets for her talk can be found here.
