Jon McLurg at Maybee Brewing Company. Jon McLurg is a singer-songwriter based in Kingston, Ontario. Jon has been a staple of the local folk music scene for more than 15 years as a solo performer and member of Turpin’s Trail, Crooked Wood, and The Goodnight Irenes. 7:30 p.m.
Colin James at Fredericton Playhouse. Colin has set the bar for consistency and talent in Canadian music and even after 20 acclaimed albums remains at the top of his game, always challenging himself musically. A consummate professional and a superb guitarist, Colin is a musician’s musician. 8 p.m.
Wednesday
Hip Hop Open Mic at The Cap. The first Wednesday of every month, Hip Hop Open Mic at The Cap will feature showcases, networking, open mic freestyles, and guest performances. Follow @hiphopopenmic on Instagram. 9 p.m.
Noon Hour Concerts at Christ Church Parish Church presents Vivian Ni. Vivian Ni will perform on piano and strings, featuring works by Bach, Sarasate, and Kapustin. 12 p.m.

Thursday
Capital 6 + Road Waves at The Cap. Road Waves has been touring heavily across Canada for the past 5 years while curating an energetic, soulful, and funky show that consistently pushes the bar. The members of Capital 6 they have been playing together for decades, from church basements to major stages, from community radio to Radio 1. 9 p.m.
Bi-Weekly Pride Social at The Muse. Between 4-7pm stop by The Tipsy Muse, grab a coffee or cocktail, and strike up a conversation! Join the large communal table to make new friends or plan a queer coffee date with your bestie – there’s seating inside and outside! 4-7 p.m.
No Name Road at Dolan’s Pub. 10 p.m.
Garrison Night Market. The Historic Garrison District comes alive each Thursday until September 8 with food, live music and craft vendors.
The Recap Night Market by The Cap. This event will focus on vintage, thrift, new and used sellers. Plus, each week there will be FREE live music , non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages , local foods and snacks! 4-9 p.m.
Live Music and Bar at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Grab some food from the Garrison Night Market and enjoy it in BAG courtyard, or just stop by for a drink and live music! 5-8:30 p.m.
Friday
Folly Fest in Gagetown. Folly Fest invites you to come hang out along the Wolastoq river in the beautiful Village of Gagetown for three days of music and fun. More info HERE.
Music at the Cathedral: Summer Concert Series presents Natalia Lubimova. Enjoy a noon performances featuring Natalia Lubimova on viola and J. Thomas D. Gonder on piano. 12:10 p.m.
The Undeniable Showcase Tour at The Cap. Anderson Bradshaw will be hosting this event featuring up and coming acts from across North America with special guests Ceeb Dread, NFP, Carvery and Chuck Ice. 10 p.m.
Rick Sparkes & The Enablers at The Muse. Rick Sparkes & The Enablers released their second full-length album, Pleasure in the Pathless Woods, on March 18, 2021, which has since gone on to win the 2022 Music PEI Award for Group Recording of the Year, a 2022 City of Summerside Culture Award, and earned a 2022 East Coast Music Award nomination for Group Recording of the Year. To make this night extra special, Rick has whipped up an opening set, which will be The Byrds’ Sweethearts Of The Rodeo in its entirety. This has all the makings of an incredible evening. 7 p.m.

They began working together in the Bonnett House collective and Jessica’s rock’n’roll band The Ramshackle Parade, most recently completing the album “Just Like A Woman – Songs of Bob Dylan”. 7 p.m.
