The latest in a long line of artist awards offered through the Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund seeks to support roots, folk and country music songwriters from New Brunswick.
The Arnold LeBlanc Songwriter Award is the latest addition to a growing number of artist awards now delivered annually through the Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund. This new award seeks to recognize New Brunswick songwriters of all levels working in the roots, folk and country music genres.
The selection jury for the inaugural 2022 award includes several well known Atlantic Canadian songwriters including Lennie Gallant, Joel Plaskett, Jenn Grant, Rose Cousins, and Catherine MacLellan.
The deadline to submit to this year’s award, valued at $2000, is May 20. Full submission details can be found HERE.
This latest award precedes a number of upcoming awards planned for 2022 which include an artist scholarship award, a photography award, a filmmaker award and several others.
