Another busy week of entertainment kicks off Tuesday night with Songs of the City at the Playhouse followed by Music Runs Through It’s Across the Pond tour which stops at Dolan’s Pub on Wednesday. From there, we’re off to the races with a ton of shows on as many stages.
Tuesday
Songs of the City at the Fredericton Playhouse. Songs of the City is a special evening of compelling speakers and songwriters that tells the transformative stories of everyday people whose lives have been changed because of your ongoing support of United Way. 7 p.m.
Wednesday
Comedy Open Mic at The Cap. Calling all jokers. Open mic comedy is back. 8 p.m.
Julie Aubé and Luke Jackson at Dolan’s Pub. Music Runs Through It and Sounds Just Fine are thrilled to present the Across the Pond 2022 concert tour featuring Julie Aubé and Luke Jackson. 7:30 p.m.

Thursday
Denver Monteith live at Broken Record Bar & Music Room. 9:30 p.m.
I The Mountain + Ben LeBrun at Grimross Brewing Co. Often postponed but never canceled, I The Mountain play the Grimross stage this Thursday with Ben LeBrun opening. 8 p.m.
8th Annual Capital $500-or-Less Art Sale at The Cap. Check out a variety of items created by local artists and craftspeople including paintings, photography, mixed media, illustrations, pottery, jewelry, prints, and so much more. 5-8 p.m.

SLOWCOASTER live at Broken Record Bar & Music Room. 10:30 p.m.
The Montgomery Street Band at The Tipsy Muse Café. Superb musicians, great songs and a good time pretty much sums up what you can expect when Fredericton’s bluegrass powerhouse, The Montgomery St Band takes to the Muse’s stage. 7 p.m.
Run The River + Stonehouse at The Cap. A big night of alt-rock. 9 p.m.
Art Battle at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. Come watch the paint fly before your eyes and help vote to determine the Winner as artists battle the clock and each other in three fast-paced rounds. All artwork will also be available for auction during this incredible night of community and creation! Art Battle® is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in a silent auction to take the work home. 7:30 p.m.
Dana Dickenson at York County Cider. A fun evening of your favouite songs. 7 p.m.
Garry Hansen Trio with Don Bosse on drums at Southside Shake. Enjoy some of the finest jazz Fredericton has to offer. 7 p.m.

Digital Circus at The Tipsy Muse Café. Digital Circus is an Atlantic Canadian electro-pop and funk band. With relentless beats, driving bass lines, and synth leads that sound like they are from space; they’re scientifically engineered to get you moving. 7 p.m.
Marian album release at The Cap. Marian release their long awaited debut album with special guests Daveband and Danielle Doiron. 9 p.m.
Overwound at Grimross Brewing Co. Fredericton blues rocker Overwound kick off a night of electrifying music at 8 p.m.
Gin & Jazz at Southside Shake. Start with a Signature cocktail, stay for dinner, make it an evening and enjoy Gin and Jazz from 7-9 p.m.
Jeremy Holtz at the Fredericton Playhouse. Comedian Jeremy Holtz brings his Marquis de Sad tour to the Playhouse. 7:30 p.m.
Frank Davis at the Davis Trio at Broken Record Bar and Music Room. Frank Davis will be playing the Broken Record Bar & Music Room on April 30, backed by the Davis Trio featuring Chris Saad on Drums, George Maguire on bass, and Andrew Somerville on guitar, and guest vocals. 8:30 p.m.
Wharf Rats at Charlotte Street Arts Centre. From Halifax, Wharf Rats’ motto is to keep on truckin’ and playing to the tide, and sharing in the spirit of the good ‘ol Grateful Dead. 7:30 p.m.
Isolated // Together Live at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. A live interpretation of the current art instalation, this exclusive live event presents performances by dancers, an exhibition of 14 artist-made masks, and storytelling by members of the community, all created in response to the changes we experienced at the onset of the pandemic. 7 p.m.

Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch at the Fredericton Playhouse. See the popular children’s book come to life on stage! Mr. Hatch leads a predictable and dreary life; he keeps to himself. One Valentine’s Day, he unexpectedly receives a heart-shaped package with an anonymous note that whispers, “somebody loves you,” and everything changes. This heartwarming puppet play examines the effect that kindness can have on a lonely existence. 2 p.m.
