Live Bait Theatre bringing A One-Man Christmas Carol to Fredericton

Category: stage 172

Ron Kelly Spurles will perform his One-Man Christmas Carol, December 7 at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.

Sackville’s Live Bait Theatre have shared some initial plans for the 2021/2022 season which begins November 18 with the first in a series of performances of A One-Man Christmas Carol. Adapted and performed by Ron Kelly Spurles, the play is a faithful adaptation of Dickens’ holiday classic with one actor playing more than 20 characters live on stage.

“We are very excited about our 2021/22 season”, said Live Bait President Cynthia Spurles. “Now that we can return to in person performances, we’ve got an exceptional line up of shows. It will be one of our busiest years ever, and we can’t wait to share it with people.”

A One-Man Christmas Carol will be performed in Sackville on November 18, 19 and 20, in St. Andrews (with dinner theatre option) November 27, and in Fredericton December 7.

Following this five show run, Live Bait’s holiday theme continues with Charlie Rhindress’ Grandma’s Coming Out for Christmas.

Grandma has been in self-isolation for almost two years, but she’s coming out for Christmas! She’s fully vaccinated and ready to party! Join Grandma and her wacky friends and family as they celebrate the season with a traditional turkey dinner, some holiday tunes and lots of laughter.

This show will be performed as dinner theatre in Sackville, December 1-4 and 8-11 and in Amherst, December 13, 14 and 18.
