New Brunswick’s annual music industry conference and showcase will be an all digital event this year.
This year’s provincial music industry conference and showcase will take place as planned, with a few minor adjustments. For starters, there will be no host city and or need for a hotel room. Festival (506) will take place entirely as an online event with all the expected programming including meet and greets, conferences and panel discussions and showcases taking place through digital platforms.
“We know how important it is to have spaces where artists and audiences can connect and celebrate together,” says Jean Surette, Executive Director of Music·Musique NB. “This is an opportunity for us to support our New Brunswick music industry while adapting to the ever-changing situation.”
This year’s festival was originally set to take place in Edmundston, NB. If all goes well and the new normal allows, that’s where things will happen in 2021.
