An international co-production between four theatre companies, The Limits of Possible Noise will be back in New Brunswick next month for performances in Edmundston and Moncton.
Following the success of the 2019 shows in Moncton and at Zones théâtrales of the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, The Limits of Possible Noise is back on stage for New Brunswick performances in Moncton and Edmundston. This play is an international co-production between Satellite Theatre (Moncton), Pupulus Mordicus (Quebec), Cirque Théâtre des Bouts du Monde (Montreal) and Grafted Cede (London, UK).
Gazing at the carnage around us, facing the horrific desire to give up when everything is broken and dejected, what are the limits of human resilience? The Limits of Possible Noise articulates the question of the human heart’s survival and of how it keeps on seeking the light. Nine performers from near and far offer a succession of fragmented narratives where the mundane, the tribal and the ghostly interact. A hybrid performance offering physical and masked theatre, dance, acrobatics and puppeteering. For general audiences, with English surtitles.
This collective work completely blew me away. I was captivated by the intensity of this [bilingual] show, which explores life’s fragility, grief, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of humanity.
– Sylvie Mousseau, l’Acadie Nouvelle, Coups de coeurs culturels 2019
