Hamilton, Ontario’s Artificial Dissemination play the Maniac Mansion this weekend with Moncton legends Nerve Button and Fredericton upstarts, To Whose Profit?
Fredericton’s Maniac Mansion will host a trifecta of Canadian punk rock this Saturday.
Hamilton, Ontario’s Artificial Dissemination will return to the Maniac Mansion this weekend as one of several stop’s on the band’s east coast tour. Citing Mad Max and The National Enquirer as their primary influences, A.D.’s stripped-down sound ranges from old school hardcore punk to garage, with surf influences and lots of screaming vocal energy.
Nerve Button is as close as any New Brunswick band could possibly come to being a called ‘legendary’. Boasting a lineup comprised of some of the province’s most influential punk rock pioneers and practitioners, Nerve Button’s ’77-inspired take on rock and roll is as exciting as it is comforting. It’s something old, something new and something any audience is sure to appreciate.
The final band on the bill, To Whose Profit? are relative newcomers to the city punk scene. Charged with a unique energy and a general interest in revitalizing the underground music scene, TWP? have quickly become a mainstay on Fredericton’s small-but-mighty punk rock scene.
Check out this meeting of the punk rock minds this Saturday when they hit the stage at the city’s most notorious DIY venue.
