Saint John’s guitar rock heroes Little You, Little Me share first single from their forthcoming album, Hard To Say, Not Knowing.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost four years since Little You, Little Me released their landmark album, I’d Watch The Day Til It Died.  When it was released in December of 2015 the album not only took the scene by storm with its overt balance of aggressive and melodic tracks, each powered by an explosive nucleus of feedback, harmony and sheer guitar might, but it also made it clear that Little You, Little Me were a band worthy of everyone’s attention. What they managed to achieve in just four years was nearly enough to force some lifelong musicians to question their career path.

Today, another four years has almost passed and the band are preparing to release their next album.  But it’s not like they left us hanging all this time. There was the EP, In Under Fourteen Highly Concentrated Minutes, where in just four songs the band managed to create a near album’s worth of listening satisfaction (I still can’t decide which track is the strongest). And then just last November they released the 7” single Evador (with the B-Side single Bros), showcasing an even more refined version of Little You, Little Me’s sound. I guess it doesn’t hurt to have a fully tweaked out recording studio (Monopolized Studios) at your disposal.

So with an admirable amount of musical refinement now an expected part of each new Little You, Little Me release, the band have shared the first true taste of their new album with today’s release of Traveled, a track that again sets a high standard for the group to follow while also highlighting the diverse songwriting we so often leave out of the conversation when singing the praises of LYLM.

Hard To Say, Not Knowing is set for release August 9 via Monopolized Records. Digital pre-orders are now available on Bandcamp and rumour has it, a special limited edition pre-order that includes a copy of the band’s Evador 7″ can be accessed by contacting Monopolized Records directly.
