Newfoundland trio The Once wrap up 27 date Canadian tour with two New Brunswick performances.
Days prior to embarking on an extensive Canadian tour in support of their fourth album Time Enough (May 2018), Newfoundland trio The Once shared the video for their latest single Any Other Way.
“Any Other Way dials in on relationship dynamics and emphasizes the need to make ample time for one another – and to enjoy the journey all the while,” said singer Geraldine Hollett. “Every relationship you have requires work but it doesn’t mean the work can’t be fun. Stop and hug the flowers all. There’s joy to be found at every turn. Let that kid inside of you out. Have a laugh. Soak it up. Every second you miss is a second gone. And in every moment lies an opportunity to make life and your fortunate relationships stronger and unbeatable.”
Shot mostly during a stretch of touring between Edinburgh and Yorkshire, the video’s Super 8 look, with its grainy desaturated images, compliment the song’s dreamy nostalgic feel.
Time Enough was produced, engineered, and mixed by Daniel Ledwell (Jenn Grant, Gabrielle Papillon, Adyn Townes, Rachel Beck, Fortunate Ones) in Lake Echo, NS.
The Once wrap up two months on the road with dates in Riverview, Halifax, Fredericton and Pictou with support from Toronto singer/songwriter Megan Bonnell.
