Hard Charger

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=310560902 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small track=3385984570]

Quite possibly the hardest working band around, Hard Charger have taken their brand of hardcore/metal to audiences across Canada and Europe. They hit Eastern Canada this spring and are lining up dates for a jaunt out West this summer.  Get ready Canada. Hard Charger is coming for YOU!

Helm

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=274953966 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small track=3438544171]

Helm may or may not be a thing of the past. That remains to be seen.  Regardless of whether or not we’ll ever see them on stage again, their brand of Motorhead inspired, fist-in-your-face metal will remain a constant on our iPods for years to come.

Hero’s Last Rite

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=879337306 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

Wow!  These guys are TIGHT, with an incredibly clean live sound. And they just received a well-deserved ECMA nomination. It’s about time. Hero’s Last Rite. Friendly guys with fierce jams.

Seigebreaker

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 track=3618227403 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

Let’s hear it for Dale Lyons and Seigebreaker. Veterans of the metal scene, Dale himself may be one of the city’s metal pioneers. Power-trio to the max!

Tactus

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 track=561790189 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

Tactus wrapped up 2014 with the release of this out-fucking-standing track. Can’t wait to hear more from these guys. Duelling vocals and melodic riffs that lift you from your happy-place and drop you on your ugly face with arrangements that rival the best in the business. GIVE US MORE!

SpineSplitter

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=2825915637 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

Blasting your ears to hell and back, Spinesplitter are entering their fifth year as “the most evil sounding band on the East Coast of Canada.”  Also, the uncrowned winners of Most Metal Album Cover. #scaredtodeath

Green Lung Grinders

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=2004675254 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

I’m pretty sure these guys just live a few doors down.  A welcomed addition to neighbourhood.  Charlotte Street rules!  True story – two strangers walked into their living room/practice space once, sat down on the couch and cracked a beer and the band didn’t stop. Between songs they asked us (I mean, the two strangers) if we were there to shut the party down.  We (I mean the two strangers) said “not at all”, and with that, the next tune began.

Verses

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=3225999793 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small track=2259736867]

Moment of Inertia

[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=3576713391 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]

Balanced between the best parts of 90s metal and the best parts of ALL rock and roll, ladies and gentlemen, Moment of Inertia have kept the city’s HEAVY alive through thick and thin.

Blueprints

Blueprints have just announce they’ve got a new single in the works.  Stoked.
